Stricken with a rare genetic family illness, Stephanie Shullman opens up about her fear of death, clinical trials, and her hopes for miracles and how science is helping her become one.
"Experimental treatments are so worth it - the people coming behind you are the ones who are going to benefit from it,” Stephanie says. "It’s about my son and his future children, because what I have is hereditary.”
Through it all, she has goals, hope, and chutzpah.
